4/22/14 – Colby Sawyer Environmental Expo~Speaker Brown Lavoie

  • Come learn about farming in the Northeast from Tess Brown-Lavoie.  This event will feature a presentation entitled “5 Years lease: New Farmers and Agrarian Commitment.” The event will be held at 7 pm in Clements Hall in the Ivey Science Center at Colby-Sawyer College.

4/26/14 – Eat Your Yard! Local Event

  • Come celebrate local food at Spring Ledge Farm! Learn about easy garden designs.  Handouts will be available outlining several easy garden layouts.  Plants will also be available for purchase to start your own garden!  The event will take place between 1 and 4 pm at Spring Ledge Farm in New London.

5/4/14 – Bring Your Own Bike ~ Free Bike Tune Ups & Exchanges on New London Green

  • Dust your bike off and bring it to the New London Green for a tune-up by members of the Kearsarge Valley Transition Initiative. A bike swap will also take place, so bring that old bike that has been laying around the yard and donate it to a person who will really enjoy it! This event will feature a local band, hands-on workshops, and a bike swap.  The event will take place between 12 and 3 pm on the New London Green
